The main Logo is composed of buildings, trees and rivers. Traditional Chinese dwellings along rivers are surrounded by luxuriant trees, which forms an organic whole of harmonious coexistence between human and nature, and outlines the poetic realm of the ideal living environment for human beings.

The logo demonstrates the disciplinary structure of SETE: Ecology, Landscape Architecture, and Horticulture, which are integrated and mutually reinforcing, and symbolizes that the aim of SETE is to nurture a new generation of ecological civilization builders and successors to beautiful China.

The exterior of the main logo is composed of concentric circles embedded with the name of university and school. The concentric circles represent that SETE has grown from scratch, developed steadily and upheld central role of reform and innovation since established. Meanwhile, the concentric circles also symbolize the layered structure of the ecosystem, implying that cease to struggle and you cease to live.
